The Vessel

The vessel is a 1995 Luhrs Tournament 290 with an overall length of 31' and a 11' 6" beam. It is an excellent fishing vessel with ample room for up to six plus the captain. Features include an enclosed helm area, a head, galley, hot and cold water, heat and air conditioning, tower, and all the necessary fishing equipment. Furuno 34 mile radar, color CRT fishfinder, Garmin GPS chartmap, single sideband and vhf radio, Navico autopilot and cell phone make up the electronics package on board. Powered by twin EFI 350's the vessel can cruise economically at 22 knots with a top speed of 30 knots. The Luhrs 290 is one of the best designed fishing vessels for its size and with the Carolina flare and deep V hull it provides for a comfortable and dry ride.
